They did mention, however, that they noticed one thread guide was missing from the machine and once they were able to replace it with another from a spare machine they had at home, it ran smoothly. Though they did mention that someone without basic knowledge of the way sewing machines work might not understand why the machine wasn’t working properly if they didn’t also notice the missing guide.
