The JUKI MO644D Portable Serger has all the power of an industrial sewing machine into a home based machine. With a hard-working drive cutting system, intuitive design, and superior quailty stitch formation the convertible 2/3/4 thread serging with automatic rolled hem capability makes this machine great for novice and more advanced sewists alike. There’s a color coded threading and breakaway looper for no fault threading, and an upper knife that moves out of the way for easy access. A multi-foot is included making it capable to sew a large variety of stitches, tape, and elastic. There are many optional presser feeet available for cording, blind stitch, piping and gathering.

There were five customer reviews for this machine on Amazon. Three reviewers rated this machine 5 stars, while one reviewer rated it 3 stars. Only one reviewer rated it one star.

The first review posted for the JUKI MO644D was posted in May of 2009. This reviewer was the 3 star rating but stated that they hadn’t used the machine at that point. They said they purchased this particular model because their daughter had it and they loved the way the stitches looked and complimented the service recieved from the seller. There was nothing directly negative about the machine itself.

The one star review was left in November of 2010, reviewer stated that the machine didn’t come with any of the extra feet, thread, dvd manual or any of the extras promised. They felt they were scammed and returned the machine.

The most current review was posted in September of 2011. Reviewer gave the machine a 5 star rating and stated they were very happy and pleased with its light and “good” size. They were pleased to be able to move the machine from table to table, liked the way it stitches and leaves a clean finish and was exactly what they were looking for.
